Pluto theme, the SEO nightmare

Voila une petite mésaventure concernant un thème acheté chez Themeforest, PLUTO de peerapong. Un petit souci gênant mais certainement facile à régler, et voila comment répond un support à 35 USD :

I almost finished a site using pluto.

And now i have a VERY big problem with SEO. The theme is definitly beautyfull as UNoptimized.

For ex, the page /contact/ is indexed. BUT if i go directly to site.com/contact/ there is only the page displayed !!!!! No menu, or scrolling bar.

This is a very big issue, since the sitmap create item for each opage, blog post, menu items BUT with the direct slug, so ALL pages / posts indexed by google returns to the only item !!!!!!

No idea on how to solve this. But this is definitly a theme problem….

Huh guys what’up ? This is a blocking issue….

Precision : direct blog slugs are correct, and the whole interface shows up. But not pages.

Please help on that….

Sorry it doesn’t support custom permalink because the theme is driven by AJAX. Generally speaking, if it’s not in the demo then it’s not in the theme.

Qui visiblement ne veux pas comprendre ma question….

I dont speak about custom permalink. I speak about page slugs, indexed in google (the one I show you) so with a DIRECT ACCESS.

It work just fine for blog posts they are indexed and direct acces to a post works fine whatever the permalink structure is. Not a problem of demo or not because THAT CANNOT BE TESTED on the demo since we DONT have the contact page name for exemple.

This is a very big issue, sorry to insist but having a contact page site.com/contact/ that does NOT load the whole menu is just… not an option !

This page IS in the sitemap, IS indexed by indexes, so just MUST shows up !

so what can be the solution for that ?

Ok you dont want to answer and you are selling us a theme for 35 $ that CANNOT access pages directly. Second the translation issue is not solved. More over you are definitly not gentle and aswer a CUSTOMER this way this is seriously not how i Intend support i have PAID for.

Your justification about “it’s not on the demo so not on the theme” is just a pity since this CANNOT be verified and it is IMPOSSIBLE to see that BEFORE buying.

Voila une mésaventure avec un thème de Themeforest, créé par peerapong, le theme est PLUTO pour ne pas le nommer. Apparemment ses thèmes fonctionnent sur le même modèle, et c’est un CAUCHEMAR pour le référencement. Pas d’accès direct aux pages, et malgré une « belle » apparence un codage qui laisse franchement à désirer.

Cout de la connerie : 35 USD pour un support qui tient du « foutage de gueule »….

Et oui ca arrive.

Promis je recommencerai plus….

   Ah je suis pas le seul.. grrrrrrr même problème de mon côté notre cher Peerapong ne répond même plus aux messages..

   Aucun moyen pour déplomber le thème ?

     non. Le theme, comme TOUS les themes en menus ajax de ce type et tous ceux de peerapong sont simplement a FUIR comme la peste. Ce dev est en plus particulièrement désagréable il faut passer le mot et ne JAMAIS acheter ce type de theme hélas…

     pour le déplomber ben il faut le réécrire…. Le mieux et de considérer avoir perdu 35 dollars au loto….

       Ok viens de passer un bon bout de temps avec quelques développeurs et forums… Et réussi à automatiser la réécriture de l’url!

       Donc en court :

       1) Ajouter une sitemap dans toutes les pages.
       2) Bidouiller le javascript pour réécrire les pages… Solution finale ici : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10755100/best-solution-to-redirect-urls-to-an-ajax-version

       Voilà 35$ de sauvé

         Ce qui prouve bien que ce thème est codé à l’arrache, mal fichu, et que peerapong est un branleur…
